Meet our Doctor

Meet the experienced and friendly doctor who makes Fox-Chase Optometry a proud provider of vision care products and services in Oliver Springs.

Dr Chase

Mary N. Chase, O.D.

Originally from West TN, Dr. Chase attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and studied Anthropology and Pre-Medicine. Fun fact: she even volunteered at the infamous “Body Farm.” Like Dr. Fox, she also graduated from the Southern College of Optometry.

She and her husband, Miles, always knew they wanted to move back to the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee. In their free time, they enjoy exploring and hiking the Smokies with their two dogs, traveling the world, spending time with family, and cheering on UT football.

Dr. Chase has now taken over the patient care in our clinic, and she is very passionate about treating ocular diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye syndrome. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, including being a provider for InfantSEE, and she also will treat ocular emergencies/trauma cases. The doctor is in the office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
